Adding additional form elements to e-commerce check out

Hi,

I’m trying to add additional form elements to the e-commerce check out form on our website. But every time I try I’m faced with a message saying that “form elements can only be added to form blocks”; even though the check out form is one giant form block…

What I want to do, is simply provide customers with the option to select one charity (via radio button) where we can donate income, from their purchase.

Any ideas? The block seems to be hard coded and and I haven’t been able to figure out a feasible work around…

Thanks in advance,

Mustafa

Hello,

Within the block you would then need to process and record the request.

If you do not get a reply with Webflow, our concept is to help you add up to 4 different options upon the checkout process. Shown at the payment option display you could have:

Donate to a selected charity: Yes / No ( radio button formatted )

Although It is a separate eCommece platform, you might find it has far more options.
There is no “plug-in” required. We support Webflow and any other design language.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply… Was it cut off at some point? It seems like you’re referring to a third-party solution but the first few sentences are missing maybe…?

Hello! Yes, it is a separate platform.
We like an support Webflow for the design side, but it is not as flexible as it could
be as an eCommerce solution for many merchants.
