I have built a site on Webflow paying $19/mo. Have hosted the .com on Namecheap and would like to publish the site on the .org domain which also has hosting setup on Namecheap. The problem is when I go to Publish there is no Choose a publish destination: that shows a .org choice. How do I do this?
@genee - If what you are saying is you want to publish to externally hosted platforms, the answer is that Webflow does not support that. You’d need to export a project and deploy it to your environment.
If you are talking about assigning custom domains to a Webflow project, you can have multiple domains assigned to one, and you can only publish to staging and the default domain. The other domains would be redirects only.
I have a website I created on webflow. I published it to (I guess you would say) external hosting on Namecheap. I’m guessing that is what you mean by exporting and deploying it to the Namecheap hosted environment. I’m using a .com domain hosted there. I have recently purchased a .org extension. I would like to use it also. How to do it?
Since you’re hosting your site on Namecheap’s servers, you’d need to check Namecheap’s hosting docs for how to configure your DNS + hosting for multiple domains.
@genee - NameCheap uses CPANEL for hosting so you can either add a site/domain redirect for the .org → .com or you could set up an addon domain which would allow for hosting the .org separately. I suggest you do your research for this at NameCheap as they have ok docs.
