A FORM challenge

Hi there,

I am new here, greetings from Holland.
I need some help.

I am looking basically at a form with one entry called word count. The visitor of the one page website has to fill in a number. Press submit bottom: a popup will appear based on the number filled in.

So no sending email. just a popup.
How do I do this. Do you need custom code/ java script for this?
