7/31 Update on Webflow Performance Status

Hi everyone, Linda from Webflow here.

Just wanted to follow up now that platform performance is stable and back to expected levels. I know this week’s issues has caused real stress for you, your teams, and your clients trying to get work done. We should’ve shown up sooner and better across the board.

We posted two updates if you want to go deeper:

Again, we appreciate everyone who called this out. We’re not treating this like it’s over. We’ve got more work to do and we’ll keep you in the loop.

Thanks, @lindatong : I really appreciate the transparency and the way you’ve communicated over the past few days. I can imagine how intense this week must have been for the team, and it’s clear you’re listening and trying to respond meaningfully. That effort matters.

That said, I’d like to point out one part of your message that may not fully reflect what many in the community have been trying to express as seen in @J8kes open letter thread.

Yes this week was challenging. But most of the concerns raised go beyond this week. They speak to long-standing issues with Designer stability, publishing reliability, and general platform performance that we’ve been wrestling with for months.

I hope this moment will be a turning point. A chance to reconnect with what originally made Webflow such a powerful and loved tool for so many of us.

I’ve been an early adopter. I love Webflow and I truly hope I’ll be able to keep loving it for many more years to come.
