When I add video’s to CMS items through the default video link option and run a dead link checker I get a link with a 404 error on each page:
Any idea why this is happening?

It looks like your dead link checker is pasting in the URL incorrectly (leading to a 404).

If you visit the actual source URL, it shouldn’t be a 404.
