404 Issue Using Link in CMS Item Slug

I am running into an issue in my CMS wherein a post I am creating for our resources page goes to a 404. I am literally copying the slug link straight from the body of the post and pasting it into my browser (yes, after publishing multiple times) and it doesn’t work. Live link here:

Here is my public share link: [LINK]

Is your /resource collection page published?
Check the page settings, I don’t see any such pages in your sitemap.

It gives me a save option, then allows me to publish the CMS items. The total site has been published multiple times.

The page this is listed on is Resource Monitor | References & Documentation

Check the collection page’s settings, there is a separate publish option there for each page.

I’m sorry I am not understanding. I went to the collection settings and I don’t see anywhere that says publish.

The collection item itself IS published and has been, but that link still doesn’t work:

I see – I figured it out. I didn’t realize that I needed to do the page template as well. Some of my other CMSs don’t have pages templated but this one does. Thank you for your help!

Yes, the degree of control is very useful, but it’s unfortunate that the publishing settings are scattered like this.

I think WF might benefit from some form of centralized reporting console that has reports like “what’s published?” and it enumerates everything at every level, with links through to the correct page for managing that setting… site, static pages, collection pages, collection items…

Someone could probably build that as an app.
